On Friday, 19th of August, 2022, the world was fortunate to witness the birth of a phenomenal project. Just like another invention and discovery that humanity is proud of – Pastor Travis Greene and the Music team of the Forward City Church, Columbia SC, USA, released a live album christened “TENT REVIVAL”.

“Tent Revival” is a careful and well-thought-out project that is themed on reconnecting, renewing, and revamping the relationship between God and man. Though the term “Tent Revival” is metaphorically used its literal translation will be: “Spirit and Soul renaissance, and rebuilding the God-man relationship”. The album has songs tailored mostly with the message of getting good proximity with God.
This album has more of the hybrid genre of CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) and some Black Gospel Music elements. However, However, Afro-pop, the world’s fastest-growing genre, which originated in West Africa (specifically, Nigeria), was fully utilized in one of the album’s tracks, “Turning It Around.”
The 12-track album has 11 songs with different soloists and a 1-word charge “Set The Tent” by Dr. Jackie Green and the songs are grouped into the following themes: Thanksgiving, Worship, Prayer, and Declaration. Ideally, since the title “TENT REVIVAL” is a prayer, the majority of the songs in this album are Prayers.
